Midas

Be very very wary about this place. Very predatory. They were bragging about the $3k ac system job they charged a very unfortunate lady. They tried it with me and I laughed. Still charged me $55 and did absolutely nothing to my van. Took it to a real shop amd wow.... it was half the price.

Jonah and D-something (so sorry I’m spacing the name) went out of their way to help me out today with a tire patch. Reliable service with a small town, happy to help attitude. Great group of guys here! Definitely coming back.

Little more than a glorified oil change place. I booked an appointment to have my four-wheel-drive system checked and then later said that I could get an oil change as well. When they called me to say the vehicle is ready, they said that the oil change was completed and they couldn't find anything wrong with the 4wd with their free inspection. I pressed a little bit more and they said it could be the fuel fluids. I ultimately agree to change the fluids. The main reason I sent my car there was for the 4wd and they called me when the oil changed. Granted, this was on Friday before July 4th, so they probably didn't have any of their best mechanic's working. Overall, pretty disappointed in the work. About a week later, I sent my vehicle to get inspected at Le Schwab and they're thinking there's a problem with my differential and certainly a problem with the rear wheel bearings. I don't place any value in their free inspection since they don't seem to have noticed anything. Finally, they did not even put a replacement oil change sticker on my windshield, which is pretty basic.

I used Midas on Ina St in Tucson AZ when visiting my daughter. They found some things that needed immediate repair/replacement for my trip back to MT. They were great!!! I'm am using the Midas repair facility on 4th Ave here in Billings Montana and I am receiving the same great service. Bob and Jonah (sorry if I missed anybody) have given me top-level service and explained every step and the reasons for the repairs done to my vehicle. MIDAS has a new customer - ME! Thank you guys very much!
